President - JRK Residential Group

Howard Heitner is president of JRK Residential Group. Mr. Heitner is responsible for the overall performance of JRK’s multifamily portfolio.

Prior to joining JRK in 2010, Mr. Heitner was the chief operating officer and executive vice president of SunAmerica Affordable Housing Partners, Inc. which invested in over 1,300 low-income housing tax credit properties. Additional investments included conventional apartments, hotels and condominiums. Prior to joining SunAmerica, Mr. Heitner was a partner in the real estate department of O’Melveny & Myers specializing in tax-credit transactions, partnerships and real property financing. Mr. Heitner received a combined J.D.-M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Bucknell University.
